Seasonal work on a campsite in Cornwall. Included outdoor jobs such as gardening, strimming and hedge cutting along with working as a night warden, deep cleaner, shop/bar attendant and receptionist. Developed customer service skills and provided training on tools such as strimmer’s, hedge trimmers and a sit atop lawnmower.
Seasonal work on a campsite, driving a 4×4 vehicle to and from tent pitches to deliver guests camping gear and firewood. Involved guest liason and hospitality, general maintenance work, DIY and services such as shuttling customers and their camping gear to and from their pitches, delivering firewood and cleaning the toilet and shower facilities.
Barrister/Bar/Cleaner/Cook Winter season in the cafe/bar at Gloucester dry ski slope. Roles included making coffee and preparing a variety of hot food for customers, often managing the kitchen and cafe alone. This involved operation of a professional coffee machine, a till and various kitchen equipment. Worked at the bar, serving various drinks such as draught beer to students during university nights. Kept the kitchen and café clean and prepared food for children’s birthday parties. Aided in kids tubing parties, ensuring they could safely enjoy the ski slope.
Stroud Marquee Erector Worked two summer seasons at Space Intense Marquee Events, including both the erection and interior preparation of tents for wedding celebrations, alongside driving crew and equipment to and from events. This job involved hard manual labour and long hours.
Ecommerce Assistant Handled sales of second-hand audio equipment, plus product uploads for ecommerce, product photography and photoshop editing in preparation for sales, along with analysis and correction of copy and metadata.
Whiteshill and Farmhill (Stroud) Managed the local paper-round in Whiteshill and Farmhill in Stroud for 4 years, from age 13 to 17. Organised cover, deliveries, and paid wages to others for times when absent.
Travelled for six months solo backpacking in South-East Asia, including Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines. Completed Padi Advanced Scuba Diving training and logged over 30 dives. Travelled Vietnam by motorcycle, covering more than 2000 miles in two months. Enjoy skiing and surfing and would love to expand abilities in the future. Enjoy creating electronic music with Ableton Live 9, an electronic music production software. Other interests include; Surfing, skateboarding, bouldering, squash and other active sports.
